ABOUT ROOMS HISTORY LOCATION RATES CONTACT

The Rachel Suite is named after our oldest granddaughter and is located on the second floor. This two bedroom suite is perfect for the travelling family or group of friends. Both rooms have a queen bed, separate hall entries, and air-conditioning units. The rooms are connected by a half bath, and have a separate, but private shower closet, allowing two guests to ready themselves at once. The front room (Annie Dai) is pictured, and the Scout, is a patriotic retreat with its colonial blues and reds.

This lovely second floor corner room is named after another granddaughter and is decorated in soothing blue and creamy white. A private shower bath is attached to the room. The room has its own air conditioning unit. We have added original artwork and family antiques for a combination of nostalgia and comfort. Many of our guests remark that they haven't slept so well in years. We blame it on the fresh country air. This is one our guests' favorite rooms to stay in.

Located on the first floor, this room is named after our granddaughter whose great grandfather Jack Hallman is one of the few living World War II veterans and was a German POW in 1944. He and Christy's mother Anne have come to the B&B (even before we owned it) and love this room. The room is a comfortable retreat with an 1840s double canopy bed as its centerpiece. From the wide plank pine floors to the marble and slate fireplace, this room will take you back to a time when life was much simpler. This cheerful and spacious room is air-conditioned. We also offer an air mattress if needed for an extra guest (See rate page). A private shower bath is attached to the room with a sink tucked into a corner in the "Old Inn" style.
